Summer break in Bristol

Alex spent the first week of August with his family in Bristol.

He was spoiled by his two aunts

and his grandmother.

He shared hugs with his great Grandma

and spent lots of time playing with his cousins

and their pets.

Here, Alex stands with his two favorite things in the whole wide world:

balls and dogs.

While in southwest Virginia, he did some mountain climbing . . .

and completely ignored our requests that he play on the age-appropriate playground equipment.

He was even able to take a side trip to North Carolina to see his great Grandpa Braggins . . .

(Hey - I remember you!)

. . . and had a blast meeting his cousin Clive for the very first time.

They were two peas in a pod.
