The Fourth in Florida

Alex made his second voyage to Tampa this past weekend.

Cloudy skies and pouring rain interrupted our Saturday beach plans. Since we couldn't introduce him to the ocean, we did the next best thing. We took him to the Florida Aquarium so he could explore life under the sea.

He was fascinated.

After that, Alex wanted to swim like the fish. On Sunday, the skies broke long enough for him to do just that.

After perfecting his backstroke,

he mastered surfing

and basketball.

While exploring the Florida wildlife outside of Aunt Holly's pool, Alex encountered this strange looking "dog."

Despite the rain, we had a great weekend celebrating America's birth, cousin David's birth,

and four generations of family.

  1. Seriously, Kristin, could Alex be any cuter?!?! The picture quality is incredible! I need to get Daniel and Matthew little baby chairs! I can't wait to meet him! When can we come to you or you to us? Do you usually come up for any football games? We have a completed basement with 2 bedrooms and we'd love for you to stay with us! LOVE YOU!
