This past week, Alex and his Dad turned 1 and 31, respectively.
Team Johnson celebrated in full force.
We decided to make Alex's cake into a shape he would recognize.
At first he was confused about why this ball prompted a bunch of out-of-tune singing.
But he soon warmed up to all the attention.
While he liked looking at the large, icing-covered ball, he wanted nothing to do with eating it. We threw the entire thing out.
