Choo Choo & Ho Ho Ho

This past weekend, Alex and his buddy Oliver went to see Santa arrive by rail. The boys could have cared less about the man in the red suit, but the trains were a hit. The falling snow provided the perfect backdrop to this holiday evening.

Thankful

Alex had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Bluefield. He started off the day with a trip to the playground.

After turkey, he spent some time outdoors at his grandparents' house.

And what's Thanksgiving without a little ball game?

After a lovely weekend, Alex was ready to cruise into the holiday season.

Christmas, here he comes!

Puppy Love

Alex dressed up as his very favorite thing in the whole wide world this Halloween.

And while in costume, he played the part.

Luckily, there were some dog catchers around to keep him in check.

He had a great time trick-or-treating for the first time with his neighbor and animal friend, Charlotte, the cat.

He even caught up with his buddy Oliver, the bumble bee.

Alex loved his costume and was not happy to return to human form later that evening!

Hello again!

Alex apologizes to his online friends for his month-long absence, but he is incredibly busy and important. Here is a sneak peek into what he has been up to over the last few weeks:

Climbing onto or into everything in sight

Hanging out with his good friend Charlotte at the Greek festival

Hitting up the playground, of course

Yardwork

Heading out to Layman Farms with some of his playgroup friends for some fall festivities and to pick the perfect pumpkin

Taking a break from pumpkin picking

Admiring large farm equipment

Admiring small farm equipment

Bouncing

Riding Oreo

Playing in the pig pen

Heeding the warning and avoiding the goats

Then heading down to Charleston to carry the rings down the aisle so Uncle Tripp could get married. (See - very busy and important.)

And after bearing rings,

tickling the ivories.

What a busy month! Alex will be back with more updates soon.
