Sensory Overload

Alex was a little overwhelmed when we introduced him to the Exersaucer on Sunday.

Bristol or bust!

Long time no see!!  Alex has spent the past two weeks visiting family and friends in Southwest Virginia and North Carolina.  He has lots to share about his trip.

Auntie Jessie flew all the way up from Florida to join us in Bristol, and she brought Alex his first set of Mickey Mouse ears from his great aunt Holly and cousins Heather and David, so he can be reminded of his Florida roots.

We shared lots of lazy mornings in bed reading stories.  Peanut is a personal favorite.

Alex played video games with the boys - dad and Uncle Tripp.

He chilled in his Bumbo...

... and finally started to enjoy some Tummy Time.

Alex and his dad are mad about plaid.  Alex got all dressed up ...

... and met a girl at church.  (Hmmmm .... arranged marriage, perhaps?!)

Bath time remained his favorite, and he even began to like his Tummy Tub as much as the tub at home.

Alex grew very attached to his new friend the elephant over the past two weeks.  They spent LOTS of time together.  Alex just loves to chew on his trunk.

His pachyderm pal was the perfect snuggle partner on the road trip to Hendersonville, NC to meet Alex's Great Grandpa Braggins.

And then it was back to Bristol to hang out with Alex's Great Mamaw Pippin.

Now it's time for bed because tomorrow Mommy goes back to work from maternity leave.  Wish us luck (& send some sleep-through-the-night vibes our way!)!!
